Waste management sites

Hills’ aim is to provide customers across Wiltshire and neighbouring counties with a complete one-stop waste management service. Central to that aim is the operation of six multi-faceted sites as shown below.

The major landfill and recycling sites at Calne, Purton and Blunsdon are pivotal to the waste management strategies for Wiltshire and Swindon. Together, they offer a comprehensive recycling service for both businesses and households, with specialist disposal facilities for inert, non-hazardous and hazardous wastes. The standards demanded at each site are high ones, the aim being to minimise impact on the environment and on neighbours in local communities.
