Recycling makes good sense – and that includes buying recycled products. If we are to leave the planet in good shape for our grandchildren, we need to conserve resources.

Hills is now offering a range of recycled products generated through its role as Wiltshire’s recycling contractor. Green waste from across the county is being transformed into high quality compost which is an ideal substitute for peat as a soil conditioner and mulch.

Wood recycled by businesses and by householders undergoes a shredding process which produces a new raw material for chipboard manufacture and is also in demand from power stations looking to burn biofuels rather than finite fossil fuels.
